early morning in an imaginary airstream

Once again, I awoke at around 4 AM. Rather than fret over this, I got up and did a few things around the house before assuming my post here at the nerve center. Emails out of the way, social networking sites checked, I inexplicably but somehow logically ended up on the Airstream trailer site, looking at gorgeous photos of sleek metal designs. Within moments this activity actually became a kind of waking dream of a drive on a deserted morning road through spectacular scenery, perhaps because I was looking at these images during the very time I would ordinarily have been in the classically long REM morning dream period. * * * and the dream continues
